  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry ingredients
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour blend
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Optional nuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas, then mix in maple syrup, applesauce, and vanilla.
  3. Combine dry ingredients and stir into wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Fold in nuts if using, then pour batter into pan.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, cool before slicing.
