Ingredients
  

Green Beans
  • 2 cans cut green beans, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup French fried onions, divided
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix green beans, mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Fold in shredded cheese if desired, then transfer to a greased casserole dish.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes, then sprinkle half of the fried onions on top and bake for another 5-10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Top with remaining fried onions, bake for 5 minutes, then serve after cooling slightly.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of pepper or a sprinkle of cheese on top before baking.
