Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9x5-inch loaf pans.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Combine wet ingredients in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry, then fold in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips.
- Divide batter into pans, top with remaining chocolate chips and turbinado sugar.
- Bake for 50-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
Notes
For best results, do not overmix the batter to keep the bread tender.
