  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream peanut butter, butter, sugar, maple syrup, and vanilla until combined. Add egg and mix thoroughly.
  4. Slowly add dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  5. Line cookie sheets. Scoop dough, roll into balls, and place on sheet.
  6. Press down dough with a fork in a criss-cross pattern.
  7. Bake for 8-11 minutes until golden brown. Let set for 3-4 minutes, then transfer to a rack.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use natural peanut butter. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
