Dry ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Wet ingredients
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed bananas
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Combine wet ingredients in another bowl.
  4. Mix wet and dry ingredients gently; fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into pan and bake 50-60 minutes; cool before serving.

Notes

For extra moisture, add a splash of milk if needed.
