Method
 

  1. Cream Butter and Sugars: Beat butter with brown and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  2. Incorporate Wet Ingredients: Mix in egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients: Mix in flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until a dough forms.
  4. Fold in Chocolate Chips and Walnuts: Incorporate chocolate chips and walnuts into the dough.
  5. Chill the Dough: Chill dough for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 475°F and line a baking sheet.
