- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix mashed bananas, sourdough starter, sugars, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
- Whisk together baking soda, salt, and flour; add to wet mixture and stir gently.
- Fold in chocolate chips, pour into pan, and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes, cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for best flavor and mash well for a smooth batter.
