  • 1 cup kataifi pastry
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup pistachio cream
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g milk chocolate
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
  • Additional melted chocolate for drizzling For garnish

Method
 

  1. Melt butter and toast kataifi until golden brown.
  2. Mix toasted kataifi with pistachio cream.
  3. Heat heavy cream and pour over chopped chocolates.
  4. Whisk chocolate mixture until smooth and glossy.
  5. Layer strawberries in glass cups.
  6. Add pistachio-kataifi mixture.
  7. Pour chocolate ganache.
  8. Repeat layering until cup is full.
  9. Garnish with extra kataifi, chopped pistachios, and chocolate drizzle.
  10. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use high-quality dark and milk chocolate. Adjust the sweetness by using more or less milk chocolate.
