Bananas
  • 3 ripe bananas ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas and melted butter, then add sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Add baking soda, salt, and flour; mix until just combined.
  4. Prepare cream cheese mixture with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Layer batter and cream cheese mixture in pan, swirl gently, then bake 60-65 minutes.

Notes

Ensure not to overmix the batter for a tender loaf.
