Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
Dry ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Wet ingredients
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
Flavorings and toppings
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to wet mixture; fold in cranberries and nuts.
  5. Pour batter into pan, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, then bake 40-45 mins.
  6. Cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a touch of orange zest to the batter.
