Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (for swirl)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas with melted butter, then add baking soda, salt, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Stir in flour until just combined. Mix cinnamon and sugar for swirl.
  4. Pour half batter into pan, sprinkle with half cinnamon-sugar, add remaining batter, then top with remaining cinnamon-sugar. Swirl gently.
  5. Bake for 60-65 minutes, cool before serving.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
