Method
- Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- If using, stir in the coconut oil for a smoother consistency.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
Notes
For a glossy finish, add a small amount of vegetable shortening to the melted chocolate.
