Method
- Prepare Strawberries: Wash and dry strawberries completely. Leave stems on.
- Melt Chocolate: Melt chocolate in microwave or double boiler until smooth. Stir in shortening/oil if using.
- Dip Strawberries: Dip strawberries into melted chocolate, coating about two-thirds.
- Remove Excess: Let excess chocolate drip off.
- Set: Place dipped strawberries on parchment paper.
- Chill: Refrigerate for 15-30 minutes until firm.
- Serve: Serve immediately or store in refrigerator.
