  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother chocolate)
  • Optional toppings chopped nuts, sprinkles, shredded coconut, sea salt

Method
 

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries.
  2. Place chopped chocolate in a heat-safe bowl. Add coconut oil or shortening (if using).
  3. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring, until melted and smooth.
  4. Place bowl over simmering water; stir until melted and smooth.
  5. Dip strawberries into melted chocolate, swirl to coat, and let excess drip off.
  6. Sprinkle with desired toppings before the chocolate sets.
  7. Place dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to help the chocolate set faster (optional).
  9. Let the chocolate harden completely before serving.
