Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 ripe bananas ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mash bananas and mix with melted butter.
  2. Add baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Stir in flour until just combined, then pour into a greased loaf pan.
  4. Bake for 60-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
