Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mash bananas and mix with melted butter.
- Add baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla; mix well.
- Stir in flour until just combined, then pour into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
